Health and social care partners in Northamptonshire commissioned the development of an Urgent and Emergency Care Strategy for the next 5 years that aims to ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place.
To date the work has involved a number of clinical and managerial staff from across health and social care and the voluntary sector. There has also been some engagement with local patient groups. We are now keen to engage with and seek the views of a much broader audience on the proposals.
At this stage we are seeking comments on the attached Urgent & Emergency Care (U&EC) Strategy Summary, which is an assessment of the current issues, potential future challenges, draft vision, strategic objectives and outcomes and future service offer
Responses are being sought via survey monkey. The survey can be accessed via the link below; deadline for this survey will be 16th November 2016.
I would be very grateful if you could arrange for the attached Urgent & Emergency Care (U&EC) Strategy Summary and survey link to be made available and publicised widely within your organisation or group. In particular, we are keen to receive feedback from
· Those staff responsible for and/or involved in caring for patients requiring urgent or emergency treatment and care
· Patients and carers with experience of the services
· Anyone with an interest in this area of healthcare
